Cathy is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who is passionate about health, helping people have an improved quality of life.
Cathy trained at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, completing a five year Bachelor and Masters in Osteopathy. She also has experience treating from two multi-disciplinary practices in Melbourne, including one that focused on child and family health.
Cathy moved to London, UK in 2016 to set up her own practice and to complete the diploma of paediatric osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC), in Wandsworth. She practiced there every Friday treating newborns, children and pre- and post-partum women. The OCC is at the forefront of international paediatric osteopathy training with over 800 clinical hours and research of childhood conditions. After completing her diploma, Cathy continued to volunteer every Friday working particularly with children with special needs.
In 2019 Cathy moved to Toronto, Canada to take up a position at Footprints Therapy as a Paediatric Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. Footprints is a leading clinic for multidisciplinary paediatric care established over 30 years ago. Cathy also continues to support her adult patients from the clinic.
Cathy uses cranial osteopathy particularly with babies and children to help with areas of tightness. She also treats pre- and post-partum women throughout pregnancy and beyond. With adults she may use firmer techniques such as articulation and other manipulative techniques, depending on your needs. Her approach is to listen to the body in order to effectively help you to health.
When she isn’t working, Cathy attends ballet classes, practices Pilates, yoga and meditation. She loves seeing plays and dance performances, exploring museums, seeing exhibitions and walking through parks and trails.
